FSP OF FREIBURG
04.08.2014While visiting Ørestaden we took the group for a visit to the state of the art Tietgen student housing.
Their own students are trained to tell the extraordinary story of the building, and life in and around it!
If any city on the planet would be worth calling a twin-city to Copenhagen when it comes to its values, it might be the south-German university town Freiburg.
We'll stay in contact!
STO GROUP, GERMANY
14.07.2014One of the classic components of our tours is the day-trip arround the Øresund – lots of highligts from visits of the western harbour, sustainable housing district of Malmö, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, to 8 House where we would wrap it all up before going back to the airport.
Thanks Ulrike for how great you are for our network of guiding architects.

YES! FINNISH STYLE SAUNA WITH WOOD FIRED OWEN!
14.06.2014After 7 years of owning a great farmhouse in southern Sweden we finally succeeded in building our own Finnish style sauna with wood fired oven – I can't wait for Fall to set in!
Please note a delicate detail – as a long term lover and visitor of Helsinki, Finland, I have already for several years been the happy owner of the classic sauna stool by Antti Nurmesniemi.
GENERAL ASSEMBLY COPENHAGEN FEBRUARY 2014

The Assembly was also a celebration of both the 10 years anniversary of Scaledenmark as well as of Guiding Architects!

COPENHAGEN – THE HAPPY CAPITAL
28.01.2014'Like a lot of Copenhageners, I expect, I feel happiest on my bike. It's such a privilege to live in a city where you can cycle wherever you need to go. I know lots of people outside of Copenhagen know we have a bike culture, but I still think they would be surprised by the sheer numbers of people who commute by bike. It's...

05.01.2013The World Happiness Report 2012, commissioned by the United Nations, noted that the tools of happiness research have the potential to recast the debate between economic growth and environmental protection. Moreover, it calls for an exploration of the established links between happiness and environmental sustainability. The report is an attempt to...
